Book one: The Damned
Long ago, an ancient race stole humans from Earth. For hundreds of years, they were enslaved, until plague and civil war gave rise to the rebellion. Victorious they took their enslavers' technology and made it their own. Transcending their limits. They sought a way home and, in the process, discovered new worlds.
Their stories were lost, corrupted, and misunderstood. Seen as myth and legend. Now is the time for these lost souls to reclaim their home. But they are no longer human. To them, humanity is an infestation. One which must be eradicated.
To stop them, five strangers must come to know each other, and themselves.
An incomplete vessel, haunted by his sins.
A tortured soul, on a path of revenge.
A saver of lives, who must learn to kill.
A descendant of the gods, discovering his heritage.
A liar, searching for the truth.
Together they may save the world, or be its undoing. For they know not the roles they will play in the wars to come.
